Exciting developments at The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction for 2015

The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction will be undergoing a major transformation ready for the 2015 season. A team of talented craftspeople will be removing much of the original scenery first built in 1991 and replacing it with brand new, hand-crafted material designed to make the exhibition look more beautiful than ever before. New foliage is being used to create the countryside scenes, coming from the same artistic team who supply foliage to Disney for use in their Attractions. It has been perfectly made to measure and includes foxgloves, oak tree leaves and ferns. All the animal characters will also be given a makeover and there willl be new settings for visitors to see. In addition, space in the lovely Beatrix Potter Nursery Shop on the high street adjacent to the attractionn will almost double to include lots more beautiful gifts. Finally, the newly-opened English Tea Garden at Rayrigg Rooms will be ready to welcome groups of visitors from Japan; it will be open all year round, serving delicious home-cooked, traditional food and afternoon teas.
